2024 Navy League Sea Service Awards

The Navy League of the United States Honolulu Council is seeking nominations for the 2024 annual Navy League Sea Service awards. Fifty outstanding men and women (O1-O3 and E3-E6) of the three sea services will be honored for exemplary performance in their respective services while stationed in the Middle Pacific area.

Guidelines:

USINDOPACOM, COMPACFLT, COMNAVREGHI, COMNAVSURFGRU MIDPAC, COMMARFORPAC, CGFMFPAC, NAVFACPAC, COMSUBPAC, and CCGD 14 are requested to convene an awards board to select award recipients from nominations submitted by their subordinate commands, and submit awardees via email to Ms. Raquel Cloma at raquel.m.cloma.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 29 September 2024.

COMNAVREGHI subordinate commands and ashore activities whose Immediate Superior in Command does not appear in paragraph 3(a) are to submit their completed nomination packages to COMNAVREGHI Public Affairs Office no later than 29 September 2024. Nomination packages from ashore activities will be included with the nomination from NRH subordinate commands for review and selection. Selected nomination packages will be submitted to the Honolulu Council Navy League office by 6 October 2024.

Announcement of Award Recipients. Commands listed in paragraph 3a may announce the names of their respective award recipients immediately since they will know of their selection.

Grand Award Recipients. From the award recipients selected by commanders/commanding officers, the Navy League will honor one officer and one enlisted person as Grand Award Recipients. A board of judges from the Navy League will select the Grand Award Recipients based on the nomination packages. These grand award recipients will receive individual recognition.

Awards. The Navy League will host an awards event honoring the award recipients on 21 November 2024, from 1130 - 1330 at the Ala Moana Hotel's Hibiscus Ballroom.
