2023 Administrative Consent Order (ACO) - Section 5: Facility Closure
The Department of the Navy (DON), at the direction of the Secretary of Defense and, for purposes of the 2023 Consent Order, is responsible for planning, facilitating and completing all activities related to the permanent closure of the RHBFSF tank and pipeline system. In alignment with Section 5 of the 2023 Consent Order, the DON will identify and adhere to all industry standards and codes of practice to ensure the safe and permanent closure of the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility tank and pipeline system.
